The newest iris today.

Two blooms on the white iris.

The first of the big clematis blooms by the front door.  Soon it will be covered with flowers!

Triptych - the Leaves of Florida

This quilt has already grown feet!   It will appear in a local show at the end of this month....and then it is off to travel!     (More details on that later)    These are  my photos of 3 separate leaves taken in Florida.   Julie Brandon of Red-Dog Enterprises helped me with the manipulation of photos and she printed it onto fabric.   It is very heavily quilted - mostly following the shape and veinage of the leaves!   The colors are as brilliant here as they were in nature itself.   Definitely my favorite photo printed quilt so far that I have done!!!!
